Who we are

As a team of change-makers, we firmly believe that every helping hand can uplift a nursing mother and her child, paving the way for a brighter future.

Aspiring Mothers Inc. will help reduce the number of homeless pregnant and/or parenting mothers in Los Angeles and surrounding Counties within California by providing stable, safe, sustainable housing through subleasing housing units. By reducing the number of homeless pregnant and parenting mothers,  Aspiring Mothers Inc. will also support family connection and prevent family separation by providing stable housing

Our mission is to make sure all aspiring mothers get all the support they need, when they need it, no matter what it is.

To prevent and reduce homelessness among pregnant and parenting mothers by providing quality, safe, and stable subleasing housing,  encouraging financial independence, positive effective parenting, and direct community connection.

Our Members

Aspiring Mother Inc. team wants to provide subleased housing for pregnant and parenting youth within Los Angeles County. Upon donations received from community organizations Aspiring Mothers Inc. with provided clothing, food,  hygiene product, and housing necessities.

Satoya Isrel

Founder/Executive Director

SaToya Isrel is dedicated to serving her beloved hometown of Compton , California despite facing challenges growing up without any support or limited support. Due to the many challegenes SaToya faced as a young adult it has caused her to work and fight harder for change.

As a founder of Aspiring Mothers Inc. SaToya empowers individual s and fosters collaboration, leaving a profound impact on many people within the community. Inspired by her family SaToya believes that resilience can lead to a lasting impact on the lives of Single Mothers and Parenting Youth.

Amani Jackson

member

Amani Jackson is a Clinical Therapist that has extensive experience and skills in the development, delivery, and administration of outpatient Behavioral Health Care Services. She worked in the mental health and social work field since 2013, providing comprehensive therapeutic services to individuals and families in community, school, and outpatient settings such as outpatient IOP and PHP Addiction/Mental Health.

Dr Daniesha

Member

Dr. Colvin has worked for over ten years with adolescents and adults in various settings, including the community, clinics, schools, residential facilities, and a rehabilitation center for substance use. She has extensive experience working with youth with developmental disabilities and has a passion for foster and at-risk youth.

Steph Sioradia

 Steph Siordia, a Willowbrook-Compton resident who is working with her on this effort. Through our TPI Willowbrook and Compton community engagement efforts, working on identifying resources for community events. They are interested in public health and healing-centered resources at the event.
